MR> I found the info on the SR500 off the internet and it
MR> really looks sweet. Haven't found any shops with the 98
MR> model yet. The 98 is a triple with a 52 big ring, and RX100
MR> components.
I can't imagine needing a triple unless you're going to tour and carry lots
of baggage or you live in a very hilly terrain.
MR> I was hopeing to find someone that had a similar bike. Do
MR> you think the Head Skok is necessary, or just nice to have.
MR> The Hybrid I'm riding now, has Kevlar tires and makes my
MR> feet go numb from vibration. I hope the shok will help.
I've never had a problem with feet going numb. I did have a problem with my
hands though. Cinelli cork tape, some good gel insert gloves and a conscious
effort to alternate hands while shifting and drinking water solved those
problems though.
I've really enjoyed my Cannondale and it's been everything I expected. (BTW,
I looked after keying that last msg. I'm just 43 miles short of 9,000.) Next
time around though, I'm looking more for comfort and less at speed and
weight. More relaxed geometry, probably chromolly, maybe titanium.
