Hi Matt! I've generally found SONY to be pretty good stuff overall, not perhaps the finest, but I've owned a lot of their stuff over the years from pro-audio down to portable audio, and with few exceptions all have been excellent values and reliable, and their pro-audio stuff is usually amongst the best per dollar.
