As I see it, the whole purpose of the Battle Royal was to set up two 
matches at the PPV.

1.  Obviously, Kane vs. Benoit.  But why?  Because when Benoit gets the 
win over this "monster," it locks in his credibility (not that it's not 
locked in already) as champ.  While we recognize ability, it seems that 
VinnyMac thinks that the average fan needs to have Benoit's ability 
driven home harder.

2.  Michaels vs. HHH.  This should end their feud, and send HHH off to 
do his next movie.  IOW, Michaels should win it.

I had mispredicted the result; I was sure that it would come down to 
Orton, Batista, and HHH; then Batista would eliminate himself.  Finally, 
Orton would realize that this is his chance for the gold, and 
double-cross HHH.  Next week, he would lay claim to his "legend killer" 
status by saying that HHH is a legend, so was fair game.

But I was wrong about that.
