JdBP> But if BASIC is your thing, then you should also take a look at JBA JdBP> Guidelines. Maybe you should tell him that it generates C code, and he'll need a C compiler. On a related note... With all the compilers/tools you have, Jon, do you still actively use Guidelines? I notice that you always include a "Guidelines Support?" comment with each compiler in your compiler review, which I don't think is fair --it is not up to a compiler to support Guidelines, it is ther other way around (and JBA's track record is dismal for supporting the current version of compilers). I also don't think it's fair to mention Guidelines and none of the other 1/2 dozen similar tools (I've just recently started testing Prominare Designer, and I think it is a lot better for me so far). Perhaps it is not appropriate to mention any third party product when reviewing the compilers. --- Maximus/2 3.00* Origin: Sol 3 * Toronto * V.32 * (905)858-8488 (1:259/414) SEEN-BY: 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 807 808 809 934 955 712/407 SEEN-BY: 712/515 628 704 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 259/414 400 99 229/2 3615/50 396/1 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
