  I use it under Windows, and it is actually *slower* sending text, so
I compress the reply packet to 00000000.mo0.

  I found that out the hard way. By the time I'd found all your tricks
in the batch files, and fixed it to send the compressed packet while
saving the uncompressed one, I realised that you are a very dangerous
man.
