The ZIP store routines in QWKRR creates ZIP V1.x format files. ZIP
V2.04g is backwards compatible with this so there should be no
problems. Both my local BBS (BIZ-NICE) and W.O.W both use V2.04g ZIP
and neither have presented me with problems.

As to the CRC error I cannot explain.  Try unzipping the REP file using
BVUNZIP, UNZIP64 or the *new* UNZIP128 to see if there really is a CRC
error.
