that should be fine... if you do not use the retear option, you'd have a
TID line and the user's tear lines would be left to say what they want to
say...

altering the tear line of mail passing through is generally viewed as a
major BadThing just like altering any other part of the
message... only the two address fields in the header, the seenby and path
lines may be altered...
