RW> when was the last time you attended a city board/managers/council

RB> The local area Copwatch & Anti-Racist Action (two
RB> collectives/organizations that I might be affiliated with)
And they don't have an agenda do they? IOW, any time
you get your info from somewhere other than the source
you are going to get a slant.
RB> have videotapes that are being compiled, including video of
RB> the police pointing
RB> a gun at a girl's head who is sitting on the ground, who
RB> they let go after detaining her for 5-10 mins, and other
And did the people video taping KNOW she wasn't armed?
If they didn't then how are the police to know. There
are a lot of reasons I can think of for this. There
are also a lot of reasons why I can see that it was
unnecessary. But I don't have enough facts to say one
way or the other.
RB> reading the daily newspaper and reacting. If I was, and just
RB> casually following the paper, and the city council

RB> procedures, I would probably think like you do.
To paraphrase Tweety bird; You don't know me very well,
do you. I am suspicious of anyone with power because
power corrupts. Because of that I tend to watch people
in power as close as I can and let them know what I
think. I get letters from my congressmen about things
I hadn't written them about yet.
I also know that most local people in power in a small
town/rural area tend to not be as power driven as those
in bigger areas because people tend to be a lot like
me, involved.
