Help
Just got a U1496B internal 19.2 !
How can i get the Modem speed link at the most favourable link
without having the comm speed altered ???
I'm using telemate 4.22 (me thinks) in _DOS_ !
Present i'll dial a bbs with a comm speed of 19.2 but will get a link of 14.4 
and then (i think the comms prog) drops the carrier 'cause the port speed has 
changed (19.2->14.4) then i have to redial the bbs again
the settings are all factory defaults 'cept the volume but that won't have 
any effect
by the way the modem is voice/data/fax (just to be sure you all know ;) )
any help muchly appreciated
