Hello Tariq:
First, NT does not use Scandisk.  Chkdsk is available, however.
To start chkdsk automatically, you'll have to edit your boot.ini file 
located in the root directory of your bootable partition.  Use Notepad 
and open boot.ini.  (note: boot.ini is read only - system)
Edit the normal boot line and add '/SOS'. (no quotes)  This will add two 
things to the boot process: Every driver lists itself as it loads during 
boot, and a full CHKDSK is done on all drives.
If you want to stop this process remove the /SOS.
Make a copy of boot.ini first before you edit it - for safety sake.
