Sorry for the late reply, but was on vacation and catching up on messages.
as long as you have caller ID service, does your phoneco offer "anonymous 
caller rejection"??? If they do and you turn it on, all "blocked calls" are 
stopped at the phone company and never reach your phone. The callers are told 
they must unblock their call and retry. This is a no charge option here in 
Arizona (if you pay for caller ID). This is real clean and satisfies FidoNet 
Policy of no charge (to the calling party for unconnected calls).
You can also use Jason Hendricks program for Max called SCID.
