I suppose you'd have to have some sort of a shade to put in front if it when
you didn't want the heat... Not to mention good heat transfer from the back
side of that wall!
We had a demonstration of that sort of thing not too long ago, just before
the holidays it was. We'd gotten a fresh wreath to hang on the door, inside
the storm door, and it hadn't been up real long before I noticed that we'd
get a real strong smell of "pine" whenever we were going out or coming in.
Inside of a day or two the situation became a lot clearer, as the whole
thing turned brown, from the heat. It was literally cooking in that air
space! Too bad for the wreath, but I'm happy it didn't get to the point
where it started to smolder...
