Longest I've had, to date, has been a 2m simplex qso with a mobil in central 
Florida.  I was running 10w, and he 5.  I had a vertical beam, and he was 
using a 5/8w antenna on top of his car.  "Excellent" ducting, that night!

Getting laryngitis from yelling on 144.200...  seems the people around here 
are only interested in working someone down there, if there's a contest, or 
their not a "local" station.
