Yeah... I've had that happen to me also.  (why do I attract these sales
types?)   An IBM sales dude went over my head to my boss (Exec
VP of D&B) and complained that I wasn't giving IBM a fair evaluation in
my project.

My boss went over the sales dude's head and ripped his boss an extra
analpore.  Never saw that sales rep again.

(I was suggesting the use of MS LAN Manager instead of IBM's version.)
