About: Update sort of

First an update on my grandson, all is well sort of, at least no news is
good news, the trip was a trip from hell though, Ronald MacDonald House was
closed so we stayed at a different place, was not too bad, no TV or Radio.

Grandson at this writing is in Maple Ridge at camp, the week long one with
out his mom.  Daughter is hanging out with her sister so that should be
good for them both.  I feel sorry for my Son in law, three females to put
up with. Better him than me.  :-))

We took a laptop to check our email and the people were amazed and this is
old technology I have here for that machine, a Toshiba 440CDX with a 28.8
External modem to check email.

We got caught in a hail storm on July 11 which was rather expensive it did
over $5000.00 damage to our car.  And the same to our sons car.


Second an update on my dad, he is doing fine, at least according to him,
allegedly the tumors are not present on his lungs, no report on the liver
and the aneurism though.  He is very tired and had a period of shortness of
breath and coughing, which put back his treatment by a week.

Our neighbor is taking chemo 3 times per week and will be on chemo for the
rest of her life.

So we are surrounded by cancer. Yuck.
