a language/operating system developped by Niklaus Wirth, the father of Pascal.
it is based on the small kernel principle, and all apps are module
available for other apps as well. ie if you have an editor in the system,
your apps doesn't need to have one, you just call the system. several
freeware implementation are floating on the net. I would suggest to check
out first Wirth's home in Switzeerland (don't remember the adress, see
yahoo). For fido, there are a couple of implementation available for file
request at 2:270/25. Get the magic 'files' first.
