| subject: | OS/2 User frendly |
I have been working with OS/2 for about a year or so. I don't see
my self as one who knows as much as I should about OS/2 as I should.
However I do see that OS/2 is a quality program that far serpasses any
other "PC" operating system on the market today except in one area.
This would be the user frendly area. Granted anyone who knows OS/2
wold dissagree strongly with me on this subject, but we must look at the
bigger picture. People for the most part don't want to have to learn an
entire set of instructions over again or a new way on how to setup a new
group in OS/2. There is also this problem of support for some of the
less expasive dos based hardware and software.
When programing for OS/2 please keep in mind those of us who really
don't want to spen the next year in front of a book / monitor going
duhhh.... Windows ease of use I think is one reason it became so
popular, not to mention everyone already had MSDos.
I also would like to say that I do know that ease of use and
useability don't come hand in hand.
Thank you
Eric Parker
