You could run also create a short cut to Perfmon, shift-RtClk on it and
select "RunAs".  Enter credentials that correspond to an admin
account on the NT4 machine.  I've never tried it in a workgroup, but I
think you enter the NT4 box's name in the "domain" dialog.
