Hi, Paul. PE> PE>> But now that you know there's a problem, do PE> PE>> you have a fix for it for the future? PE> FM> I just have to remember when you have more than one order in the system PE> FM> and tell the booking clerk. And that's not foolproof, if say the trade PE> FM> was done late in the day and I didn't happen to see it, and left for PE> the PE> FM> afternoon before it was booked. PE> You obviously know the situation better than me, but I can tell you, withou PE> a shadow of a doubt, that your computer systems are inadequate if you are PE> relying on manual checking. BFN. Paul. I agree. The systems *can* cater for it, but "people", to save themselves some effort, don't put the order limit info into the back office system. And I, for my own reasons which I outlined (and one other), don't put an order reference into the trading system. Getting the (ASX-provided) trading system changed would be met with the bureaucratic equivalent of ROFL - it's been substantially unchanged since it was introduced just about 10 years ago.
