That happened to me a few times and I found that reminding her would be
best I was told never to fire anyone I sponsor usually they drift away
on there own if they don't want the program... as for the mom if she
calls about her spouse give her the number to al anon and politely tell
her you can't help in this situation and most of all "Trust in your
Higher Power"
just my experience and thoughts hope it helps...
