G'day Bill,

On 13-02-95 06:44, Bill Grimsley said to Jeff Green

JG>> Yeah, well, I set mine up as close to yours as possible. No go I'm

JG>> afraid. I might grab a copy of Bink 2.50 and see if that works.

BG> It might be fairly old in computer terms, but I've never had a

BG> problem with 2.50, and if it ain't broke...

Tried Bink 2.50. Same shit. I'm really beginning to think it's something in
my modem setup. I've been through the manual and checked everything and it
all looks ok. It's frustrating! It'll also be something so simple that I
overlooked it :-(

There was only one difference that I could see. Bink 2.56 ends on my system
with 'error'. Bink 2.50 ends with 'transfer cancelled'.

BG> Damn, I've no idea what it could be then. Presumably, if I can

BG> send files to Paul, there's no reason that you should be having

BG> these problems unless it's a config error at your end.

Yep, and that's what I can't figure out. I'm sure it's my modem setup. I'll
have another look and then start doing radical things. Who knows what'll
work with this piece of Netcomm shit.

The funny thing is, I sent a mail packet to TML the other night that was
over 8192 bytes. It worked! If this problem was consistent it should have
died :-(

... This is a test. Please ignore -- oops, too late ;').
