Greetings!
Only recently did I try using the "log-to-printer" function in
Telemate (v4.21), either toggling it on/off using Ctrl-PrtScr
or by software in ANSI (I think it's esc[i and esc[j, if my
memory serves). Simply, it didn't work. Zilch to the printer,
even though the "PRN" indicator appeared in the status line at
the bottom of the screen.
I tried with a couple printers, no avail. Nothing was even
being sent over the parallel port since I have a box with an
LED which flashes when data is being sent. Nada. The strange
thing is, I can print the contents of the clipboard buffer
(Alt-K, then P) without a problem.
Is this a bug, or am I missing something? Going through
TM.CFG, I could only find the following info which pertains to
the printer:
% Printer setup
PrnPort=0
However, since the copy-buffer dump works, I thought this
should too.
I also tried redirecting LPT1 and PRN to a file (using the
utility PRN2FILE), but got nothing. It seems *nothing* is
being directed at the printer as it should. The docs don't
say much other than what this function *should* be doing.
Suggestions/comments?
Thanks!
Regards,
Benjamin Ng
