i always buy top end scsi cables. you can get a 50 pin centronics device
that is scsi 2 and not scsi 1. given a quality scsi 2 cable, there is not a
problem since the cable is backward compatible in this case. going to the
faster scsi formats requires even better cables. expect to pay over $100
for a quality terminated internal ulttra320 cable. i generally pay adaptec
cables because i know for a fact they are to specs.
