There was a time when sending other users down the wrong 'path'
and recommending broken abandonware would be a difficult thing
to ignore.

Fortunately there are so few FIDO users remaining, and even
fewer who read this echo, that I doubt more than a few people
will ever read the drivel being posted here of late. The lights
are going out and the days are numbered for anyone pushing
their 'flavor' of software in this echo or any other FIDO echo.

Anyone lurking out there who really is interested in using DOS
on the Internet and/or for BBS'g can go to my tech website and
find more than enough software to keep them busy for awhile.

It is not necessary to pay $$$ for DOS Internet applications
and I would not personally recommend that anyone do that. The
DOS packet driver to use the so-called terminal program that
'rules' was priced at $168 (best price) last time I checked.
Free packet drivers are available and there are few
applications compatible with the commercial packet driver so
really what do you get for $168? Not much.

There are always people who don't see the light of the oncoming
train and there always will be. :-\
