subject: Posting from a real Commodore 128 in 80 columns

I spent the past week reading a few hundred messages posted on this area of
Fido Net. I haven't seen a new message since November 15, so I thought I
should post something to make sure this message group still works!

The gear I'm using to post this message is:

-A Commodore 128 with disk drive
-Comet64 ethernet to serial modem
-Belkin Wireless G Router (connected to the Comet64)
-DES TERM 2.0 terminal program

I've used a VIC-20 and C64 for decades now. I just recently acquired a
C128--for free, in fact. I'm having a lot of fun with the 80 column mode
and downloading CP/M programs to transfer them to floppy disk.
