Here's how to weigh your bike:
 1) Using an ordinary bathroom scale, weight yourself (this would be
    your curb weight, with shoes and clothes, etc.)  Write this
    weight down on paper.
 2) Pick up your bike in both hands, and carefully step onto the
    scale while holding the bike.  Attempt to read the scale to find
    out how much YOU and the BIKE weigh together.  An electronic
    "talking" scale really helps out here.
 3) Subtract the 1st weight from the 2nd.  The difference is the
    weight of your bike.  (Bike+You) - You = Bike
