  And no wonder.  I've no idea what  actually is, but it's
  a fair guess that it is the interface to a one of those odd-ball unix
  windowing libraries, and the reason that you receive linker errors is
  that you are not linking you application with the library file.

  Whatever  is, it's not straight PM.

  If you want to compile a plain PM "hello world" program, then start
  with the sample PM hello world program supplied in the OS/2
  Developers' Toolkit in the SAMPLES directory.
