CH> A week without sunshine in Texas is quite rare and very sad!
CH> And ice too.
bk> I don't mind snow, and the cold doesn't bother me that much.
My hubby and I do which is one reason we are living where it doesn't
happen. The real stuff that is. Not this sill little dusting that can
happen in the south now and then as it has this winter (Orlando FL, LA
CA, and FW and parts of the Gulf Coast states.
The dusting stuff usually evaporates before it can melt into slush and
freeze into slippy slidy ice. That is a big problem in the South here,
when it happens.
bk> What does bother me is *driving* on the snow. And the constant
bk> change in temperature, so you never get used to it.
Yes to both.
bk> Late January and all we have is a light cover of snow, and that
bk> just last night. We've had weeks of cold nasty rain.
bk> Occasionally you wake up in the AM and your windshield is ice
bk> coated. Now that I don't like.
bk> Maybe the world is going to hell, but I think the fires were put
bk> out by the cold rain.
I think it is too, but not the planet yet. Only the human portion mostly
and any animal and plant life it is driving to extinction.
And you do know the 'excuse"? We can always "adapt".
