OK, ignore my recent message then. I'll get the lovely Lara to join
those 2 on Monday, let you know if there's any probs. When you get the
new holding statements (0 on one, total on the other) you'll know it's
happened.

I know you didn't. But as you can see, you didn't get the brokerage
problem although of course if that was all you ever bought you'd have it
on the sell.

What happened was that you were prepared to pay 1.9, I thought we could
get them at 1.8. And as you will have now seen from my message
yesterday, we did so for almost all of them, the last some at 1.9. I
don't know what you'll get as far as contract notes go, I think you'll
get one for the difference b/t what we bought the other day and 260/-,
with the total brokerage b/t the other day and that one coming to $75,
and one contract note for 15/- with zero brokerage.

I was trying to juggle the numbers and the price to get you $5,000
worth, and because those ones the other day had already been booked our
back-office system wouldn't (easily) let the order be amended. The
easiest way was for me to write a new physical order at nil brok,
convince the boss that it was really part of the same logical order for
which the total minimum brok had already been charged.
