Hi. Is it true that hearing people are surprised or as in extreme cases xenophobic when they are told I'm deaf but I can talk quite well???? This um surprises them???? Someone told me this and Im kinda shook up about it. YOu mean they don't realize oh s he must she latent deaf and learned speech first... No?
