I have found a place where people who may not have a bbs close by but may
have access to an ISP (line AOL or Prodigy....) There is a site
"Http://www.newn.com".
Chis Molnar who runs a bbs also runs this internet site. He has most if not
all the Fidonet backbone echoes there for users to access. All he requires
is a login and a password. (it takes about 24 hours to get this done one
gets an e-mail with the conformation.)
If anyone in the above echoes know of someone who wants access to Fidonet
but just can't find a bbs close by feel free to send them to this site.
Posting from Chris' site does not mean that the current rules that dial-in
users have to abide by goes out the window.
Posting from there is just like posting from his bbs. So all the normal
rules apply.
