TTBOMK DOS/4GW is the dos extender that ships with Watcom's C/C++ compilers.
There's supposed to be a professional version of DOS/4G (no "W") that allows
creation of executables that don't rely on the external DOS extender.
I had one application that used a DOS/4GW compatible alternative, PMODE/W (or
something), that didn't require an external file. It ran like complete crap.
Luckily, calling the program as an argument to DOS/4GW...
DOS4GW.EXE PROGRAM.EXE
allowed DOS/4GW to take control. It _may_ work for you.
There's also the possibility that DOS4GW.EXE is already sitting somewhere in
your program PATH.
