I was glad to see the article on audio voting. We tried something
similar in Boston; it worked for my wife, but not for me. The voting
machines we used have a lever that you move to close the curtain behind
you. I was having trouble figuring out which of the many levers would
cast which votes, so I reopened the curtain to get help. Unfortunately,
opening the curtain also set in stone the two ballot question votes I'd
cast (which was fine) and preventing any further voting. There was no
second ballot. I was bumming! I hope for computer voting soon, but
audio voting method clearly is some progress.
