I just read in the G.Player "Tones of the Stars" article (I've yet to 
learn a hell of a lot from the article--read it today in the s-house, 
which seems appropriate) that Stevie Ray finally threw over the Univox 
'vibe for a Fender Vibratone driven by a Vibroverb.  The only 'vibe thing 
I've ever played thru was a Vibratone, but I don't know what amp was 
drving it.  Heck, Vibratones are fairly cheap (seen 'em for $450 or so), 
and they're only the size of my Pro or so..
I think you get a lot more flexibility from something like that Voodoo 
Labs unit I've been mumbling about, though.
