Well, anyone trying to write an ADD who is asking how to get OS2.H is out of his league. If you seriously want to write an ADD, then you need to buy the OS/2 Device Driver Kit (DDK), which is available as an add-on subscription to the OS/2 Developer Connection (DevCon). The DDK includes docs, specs, and source for most of the common ADDs which ship with OS/2, including IBM1S506.ADD, IBM1FLPY.ADD, and so on. There are facilities in the standard parallel port drivers for OS/2 which allow disabling and taking them over from another driver, such as an ADD that accesses a parallel port SCSI controller. However, ADD programming is probably the most difficult and complicate kind of programming you can do on the OS/2 platform, maybe in a dead heat with file system drivers. -- Mike ---* Origin: N1BEE BBS +1 401 944 8498 V.34/V.FC/V.32bis/HST16.8 (1:323/107) SEEN-BY: 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 807 808 809 934 955 712/407 SEEN-BY: 712/515 628 704 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 323/107 150 3615/50 396/1 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
