G'day Bill,

On 07-02-95 06:30, Bill Grimsley said to Jeff Green

BG> Apparently this didn't get out of TML, so Paul kindly forwarded

BG> it to me. However, I'll reply here in case other have any

BG> suggestions as to what might be causing your problem.

Yeah, I saw Pauls message.

 BG> BINKLEY.CFG ...

[chomp]

BG> Here also is my BT.CMD file...

[chomp]

Thanks, I'll look through it and change it to look as much like yours as
possible and see what happens.

BG> Dunno what your problem might be, but you don't have to move the

BG> file to any specific location prior to sending. When you press

BG> Alt-S (send a file) while in the binkley window, you merely enter

BG> the full path and filespec of the file you wish to upload, and

BG> everything should be done automatically after that (is certainly

BG> is here). In fact, binkley should be able to send it from any

BG> drive which is accessible to OS/2, even a floppy if you're silly

 BG> enough. |-)

Finding the file isn't a problem. It even send 8192 bytes. I could
eventually send a file to Paul because on each new attempt it moves to the
file offset of +8192 bytes more than the last call.

After chatting via mail with Paul, it seems that my modem is dropping
carrier. Either that or his is just loosing it. I can't tell which because
mine is still trying to send right up the the time that the phone is hung
up.

At that point my Binkley sits there for a minute or so and then gives out
the very useful message of 'error'. Then it says 'poll completed'.
