Yep, there sure is an operator induced wildcard delay to be factored
into your calculations. There doesn't seem to be any way to get
Telix to go on-line immediately, regardless as to the setting for
the ALARM status. I usually just press the space-bar as soon as it
is connected, but I do fall asleep sometimes :)
