got processed, but it's hard to be sure seeing as the messages
were the same.

Yeah, but I suggest you use the following command to zip it:

zip -9kmj 00000000.mo0 *.pkt

9 for maximum compression
k to make it pkzip compatible
m to move (ie delete) the old pkt files
j to get rid of directory names
