Saw your note re instructor training.  I'm a PADI Coure Director (I train 
instructors) and have been for about 10 years in Canada.  Give National Scuba 
College a call 1-800-324-3483 in Toronto (or 905-884-7951) and chat with Alec 
Pierce, the facility owner.  Our graduates have found work across Canada and 
in the tropics.
We have also developed our home-preparation kit called Seas the Day, that 
will help prepare you for any of the PADI programs, including the Instructor 
course.  (And remember,  your dollar is worth $1.30 of ours).
