SC> Tough luck for Ken. If he can't even qualify as a voting participant,
then
SC> he should become a bit more active here before he puts on his "I want my
SC> toys back" tantrum. He left - that's why he is no longer moderator.
Actually my system was flooded under 4 feet of water, thus taking me out of
touch with the echo, so I didn't just `leave'. There are many things that
delayed my return, all of which are of a personal nature, and are not subject
to discussion. Bill IS fully aware of the situation.
SC> If Blake wants to take Ken on as assistant moderator, that would be
fine.
SC> Or Ken can wait around for Blake to need to leave - such things happen.
SC> But insisting that you be given back something that you gave up
SC> voluntarily is childish. Do we really want that in a moderator?
I don't insist anything. It was offered back to me and I accepted. But
software problems at my Boss Node caused a communications problem. After
I realized there was a problem I `CRASHED' all future correspondence to Bill
direct.......
SC> As for the netmail not getting through - the ability to send and receive
SC> netmail is fundimental to Fidonet. If Ken can't reliably send and
receive
SC> netmail, he needs to work that out and prove it over time before he does
SC> anything else.
My local connection found the problem on his end and all is now working
normal.
As far as working out anything, I will be here long after most of the users
here have gone off to INTERNET. As creator of this echo, I was the first one
on. Perhaps, as Moderator, I will be the last one off, and will be required
to close the door behind me.
ENJOY!! Ken Storm N2VLS
