Are all your channels in the same direction? You might consider a
rhombic antenna, each side 4-6 times the wavelength.

If the channels vary 15 degree or more in direction, you will need
a rotateable, say yagi. However, if the channels you want are all
adjacent, 4,5,6 or 7,8,9, (gap between 6 & 7) you might consider
making a Yagi out of aluminum conduit cut to the quarter wavelenth
of the middle channel. the larger diameter of the conduit has a
wider bandwidth than regular tv antenna rods, so you can get much
more resonance and gain from 12-20db.

How new is the antenna you now have? acid rain has aggrevated the
rate of deterioration of the iodized aluminum coatings, and you
may do well to take it down, brighten the rods with steel wool,
and spray them with a sealer. Oxidized aluminum is not nearly as
conductive as iodized. make the metal conductive, and coat it
with a non conductive- the radio waves penetrate paint fine if
there is no metallic pigment.

you on solar? might could use a 12v auto FM booster. 10$.
