That's a straw man, Randall, and you (of all people) should know it. The
existence and practice of manners does not preclude disagrement, it merely
constrains the vocabulary used to express sentiments.  My refusal to use
the "f" word does not repress any feelings I have, it merely
serves as factor in choosing the epithets I throw.  English is a
sufficiently rich language that we can be scathing without being obnoxious.
