Don't just tell me what you think will happen, can you give me some
PE> ODDS on what is going to happen in both directions.

During this week Auridiam (ADM) sold 10 million shares to Plutonic (PLU)
at 10 cents. They seem to have wanted to keep it out of the public eye,
the trade was reported to the market at 4:30 on Wednesday, the identity
of the buyer was reported at 6:32 last night!

There are 2 implications. One from the selling point of view is that ADM
needed about a million bucks; they've got it and they won't be selling
any more in the near future. This possibility may have been hanging over
the market for some time and as it's now gone, the price may rise.

From the buying point of view, this takes PLU's stake to over 16%. It's
quite possible they may want to increase this further, and even make a
full takeover bid. This should also cause the price to rise. In fact, I
wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of cents more when most people,
who unlike me would not have been in the office at that time on a Friday
night waiting for the announcement to come out, get to see it on Monday.

If they do go for a full takeover I wouldn't expect to see it before say
April or May, and indeed the price may drift back after an initial rise.

I can't give you odds. I am not privy to all the things which PLU may
take into account in deciding what to do. Neither do I know what the
likelihood of them striking economic gold at 3 Rivers or anywhere else,
nor what various government bureaucrats may decide in Vietnam.

In each case I can say it's >0% and <100%. Is that close enough?
