MAX by Larry Athey(sp?) is a RIP replacement. He says it's superior, and if 
the graphics produced by his Paint program and terminal program are any 
indication he is right. It's a drop-in replacement for RIP..just rename your 
MAX screens *.rip and away you go ( he says ).
