I agree that the CAD function should be along the lines of Windows3.1.  
This is how Microsoft attempted to solve the single message queue.  Not
very effecient, but it works.

With a single message queue, that is what already happens.  I found
a work around.  Press + six times.  This should bring up
a system dialog box that states that a certain process will not respond
to system requests, and to either press  to kill off the process
or  to ignore this message.  I usually end up rebooting my 
system after this.

I would like some sort of alternative if a process locks other then
going through this routine.
