Hi, Paul.

PE> FM> The Telix dialog box says it's connected, then it takes nearly 3
PE> seconds
PE> FM> before it switches from the dialog box to the display which goes with
PE> FM> sending the Yoohoo. This is the relevant bit...

[code chomped]

PE> Aha, it's the 3 seconds in the dialog box that's doing it? Well

I would think so. This is the normal dialog box which shows you the
dialling progress, then after 23 or 24 seconds says "Connected at...".
That display stays on the screen for ~3 secs.

PE> try doing this. After the "_zmod_auto = 0;" line stick in
PE> "_alarm_on = 0;". Hopefully this will get rid of that dialog
PE> box, and get straight into the guts. If you have an aversion to
PE> changing the code, you could try switching off the alarms in the
PE> configuration section (Alt-O, General, B). BFN. Paul.

No, no problem with changing the code, I've just done that & recompiled.
I don't want to get rid of the dialog box, which shows me how many
seconds it's been dialling, and any errors like 'busy', just the delay
after it tells me it's connected. Anyway, we'll see what happens next
call.

Regards, FIM.
