Hello Younchin, YM> I'm currently using VA C++ Visual Builder on 486DX66 16M YM> machine. It's a bit slow in loading, Yes, I know. Even on a P-100 VisualBuilder it gets really SLOW with 16Megs... YM> but the Composition Editor work fine for my small program and I find it YM> fast enough for learning. Yeah, you can read a page in the programming book until the next window opens ;-)))) YM> There are so much goodies inside the package that YM> I won't complain a bit. Yes, it's really great. If there were a bit less RAM/CPU hunger and less bugs it would be like "programmer's paradise". YM> and I'm saving some money to get another 8M than to look for any other YM> alternatives. Better go for 2 * 16megs and sell your smaller modules (16 meg PS/2 modules are a bit cheaper per MB than smaller modules - 2 * 16M are cheaper than 4 * 8M). YM> Compilation is fast enough Try Pentium optimization for speed. You'll wonder if the compiler has gone into an infinite loop, but at some time, it'll finish ;-) They seem to try really hard to get the last bit of speed out of a pentium with this optimizer ... BTW to all: *Avoid* CTV302 CSD !!! It breaks Visual Builder. greetings. Thomas --- FleetStreet 1.12.1 #111* Origin: Windo** 95: gesehen, gelacht, geloescht.
