It's not actually what I meant, either. What it should say in the brackets
is "[than in 'real' mode]". Believe me, I'd never make such an absurd
statement as the one you've just attributed to me. ;-)
Since "16-bit" protected mode was invented on the 286, with its 24 address
lines, I tend to think of it as being limited to 16 megs.
... When in doubt...No, don't do that either.
