Hello BEN,

I'm trying to find a DOS utility that will remove the Carriage Returns and
Line Feeds.....
In May of 1998, a Barry Block posted a message (and a 4DOS batch file
example) in response to a query from John Hentsch regarding the extraction
of DIZ or SDI files from an archive and importing those files into a
DESCRIPT.ION file. Unfortunately, BB did not list a source archive that
contained the REMVCRLF.COM file.
I've not seen a posting (in any of the Fidonet echoes that I read) from
either of these people for a long time, so I presume they have "moved on".
I did a "google" for REMVCRLF and REMVCRLF.COM with no happiness. Doing a
"google" for "remove CR LF" yielded numerous pages with
*most* of them
being for *nix....
Could you point me to a source that has a DOS binary that will remove the
CRs LFs or send such to the Addison Kimmel email address?
Thanks ... Gerald
