Actually everyone is still kicking in LOCUSER and LOCSYSOP, since I still
exchange those echos with John T.  The other echos are only on my system
though, so most of those people have left.

Basically, there's not many people left here, and in addition, those two
echos may effectively be cut when I "go internet".  But then,
maybe some of those people will start polling me also, for the
"internet side", in which case they will be back.

Basically, it's up in the air until I get my system working.  As you may
have noticed, I sent out an "SOS" for technical help, as it is
bloody difficult setting this stuff up as a raw beginner.  Hopefully those
in NET_DEV will be able to lend assistance.

I have "inn" (news) communicating with the modem, but not getting
me any news.
